We also use two types of Shea Butter whereas other products just use one. We use West African Shea Butter for its rich texture, high fatty acids and high Vitamin A content and the highly prized, but rarer East African Shea Butter also know as Nilotica. This Shea Butter has a higher olein content and is richer in anti-oxidants and skin enriching nourishment with a silky smooth texture.

*You may find on a hot day if the product melts slightly that the texture may seem very lightly 'grainy' this is completely normal and does not effect the sheer wonderfulness of the balm. These concentrated 'grains' will melt on contact. This happens because we only use the finest wild-crafted, unrefined and non-processed organic ingredients. Had we processed the heck out of these ingredients, this wouldn't happen, but then it also wouldn't possess half the wonderful restorative nourishing and healing properties of these wonderful ingredients. Nature's funny like that, perfectly imperfect!
